CURRENT STATUS: Our earlier problems with the XDS File Delivery service earlier this week (July 16-18) appear to have been resolved. Programs scheduled for airing today (Thursday, 07-19-2018) were all delivered by 9 p.m. Wednesday night (07-18-2018) according to our XDS Network Management System.
The cause of the XDS File Delivery failure appears to have been an equipment malfunction at the Microspace Communications satellite uplink site. That has since been resolved. If your station is still missing any program files, we recommend you download them from ftp://ftp.moody.edu/ and enter them into your automation system. Then, please also notify us at Moody Radio so we can further investigate your specific issues.
Service on our live satellite feeds on SES-2 for Moody-1 and Moody-2 stereo audio programming with relays were NOT affected by the file delivery issue.
Call or e-mail Dave Woodworth at (312) 329-4435 or email@example.com if you need assistance.
On Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018 at 10 a.m. CST, a test of the Moody Radio Alert system will be (was) run, including a firing of Relay 6 on the XDS-PROQ receivers and a test of the Moody Radio Alert Text/E-mail service. Our next quarterly test of the Moody Radio Alert system is scheduled for Wednesday, Apr. 4, 2018 at 10 a.m. CDT. Please see above for the current Moody Radio network alert status.
Moody Radio Alert: If an important change is made to the MB1 schedule with less than 36 hours to inform stations, we will activate Relay 6 on the XDS-PROQ satellite receiver. We ask you to set up a light, bell or paging system that will get your attention when this relay is fired. In the event of an actual emergency, we will send an e-mail version of the "Moody Radio Alert" and post the latest programming information on this site (www.moodyradio.org/affiliates/alerts).
Text/E-mail Alerts: The Moody Radio Text Alert messaging service is a powerful resource designed to give your team more reaction time in the event of a Network irregularity or short-notice (less than 36 hours) programming change. The Moody Radio Text Alert message can be sent to both cellular phones and e-mail addresses.
