| 4/29/2026 | Moody-1 (MB1) |
On Monday, April 27, MB1 PID was deleted during afternoon hours, right before In the Market with Janet Parshall, causing it to be removed from MB1 receiver schedules. Our satellite provider, engineering, and operations team rebuilt the allocation from scratch, but NMS does not allow us to assign it the same PGM#. All of this resulted in receivers missing audio, network relays, or both depending on how the station receiver is set it up. The issue has now been resolved. And all program carrier receivers for In the Market with Janet Parshall have been migrated over to the new MB1 PID & PGM. |
| 3/27/2026 11:51:12 | Moody-1 | Both Moody-1 and Moody-2 experienced audio silence earlier this morning March 27, 2026, during overnight Praise and Worship hours. The first one was around 1:50 a.m.and another around 2:52 a.m. CDT. Our Operations team found those two hours were simply under-scheduled in GSelector. Adjustments are being made to catch future incidents earlier. |
| 1/19/2026 11:49:49 | Moody-1 | On Friday, 1/16/2026 at 4:32pm CST, the Zetta automation system accidentally triggered the first break for the :40-:47 break window on Moody-1 during the first hour of In the Market with Janet Parshall. Haven Now and PowerWalk played at :32-:35, then joined Janet mid-segment. The segment ended at :41 with no NR2 Relay, followed by some silence. The ITM production team used the P&W Channel to compensate for the missing break time before joining Janet for the the first hour's final segment at :45. Hour-2 aired fine. |
| 1/12/2026 15:29:29 | Moody-1 and Moody-2 intermittent silence on Sunday, Jan. 11 during 4pm & 6pm CT hours | The exact cause of the intermittent silence on Moody-1 and Moody-2 Sunday afternoon (Jan. 11) is still unknown. The investigation by Moody Radio Operations and Engineering is ongoing. We will provide updates as they become available. |
| 1/9/2026 11:50:52 | Moody-1 & Moody-2 dead air Thursday, Jan. 8 from 3:43pm to 4:10pm CT | Several affiliates have reported dead air on Moody-1 on Thursday, Jan. 8 from that we have determined lasted from 3:43pm to 4:10pm CT. Moody Radio Engineers and Support team are actively investigating to find the root cause, which appears to be within the internal Live Wire network at Chapman Center, where the Network Operations Center is located in Chicago. Another affiliate reported Chris Fabry Live (2-2:55pm CT) and Faith & Finance Live cut out a number of times yesterday. That was in addition to the 27-minutes of dead air affecting the end of Faith & Finance Live and the beginning of In the Market with Janet Parshall. This may take a while to determine the exact problem and for a complete resolution. Please accept our apologies for the on-air disruptions. |
We are scheduling our next Moody Radio Alert system test for 10:00 a.m. CST on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. This will include our e-mail, web and text messaging. (We discontinued the use of the Moody Radio Alert Relay #6 on the XDS-PROQ receivers some years ago and instead rely primarily on use of emails, this website and Text Alerts.) As part of the test, we will send a brief text message to those subscribers and an e-mail version of "Moody Radio Alert: Only a Test.” We will also post the test acknowledgement to this Moody Radio Alert web site at: https://www.moodyradio.org/stations/affiliate/alerts/.
The purpose of the Moody Radio Alert system is to provide an efficient means of communicating satellite or FTP program distribution issues or short-notice changes in the Moody-1 program schedule.
