The Moody Radio Affiliate FTP site offers a convenient means of downloading many of Moody Radio’s programs on our FTP site. This site is designed to allow for hands-free downloading if you enable a FTP downloading software (such as Radio Spider). FTP Site Navigation

The landing page of theMoody RadioFTP site contains the following root level folders:

Folder Name		Description of Contents
Alerts		Contains audio program files that may have misfed on MB1 or MB2 or used for other Alert scenarios as needed. Learn more about Moody Radio Alert procedures.
Custom_Production		Contains custom files created upon affiliate request. Request a custom promo or tag by completing our Spot Requisition form.
Miscellaneous		Contains assorted material for short-term storage.
MR_Owned_and_Operated		Contains material specific for Moody owned stations.
Programs		The Programs folder on our FTP site contains all program audio, promos, graphics, TechSpecs Sheets and other related material.
Resources		The Resources folder on our FTP site contains assorted barter and Sharathon spots, clocks, schedules, Quarterly Program-Issues Reports, SoundExchange Reports, Satellite Tech, Music logs and other helpful tools as necessary.

Note that with the launch of a new website content management system December 11, 2017, many affiliate resources like schedules and clocks previously posted on the website are now posted on the FTP site under the Resources folder.

These affiliate resources are available for download with your assigned username and password. If you are looking for a resource not listed here, please contact our Moody Radio offices for assistance.

Posting of Files

Audio files posted to the FTP site will be in MP2 format (192 kbps, 16-bit, stereo, 44.1 KHz) unless requested otherwise (such as a custom promo or tag).

Program File Naming

Program audio files will be labeled with recommended air date (YYYY-MM-DD), followed by abbreviated program title (refer to list on page three), and as necessary followed by Hour_01 or if the program has segments followed by Hour_01_02. Underscores are used in lieu of spaces.

Promo File Naming

Promo audio files will be labeled with the air date (YYYY-MM-DD) of the program for which they are being produced, followed by abbreviated program title (refer to list of titles on page three), followed by Promo30 or Promo60 (depending on the length), and as necessary followed by type (such as Hour_01, Daily, Weekly, Generic, or Both Hours). Underscores are used in lieu of spaces.

WORLD Radio News

Moody Radio partners with the World News Group to provide radio stations with two newscasts (The Sift, 3-minutes each) Monday through Friday. These began the week of July 4 via FTP and Moody-1 at 5:55 a.m. and 7:55 a.m. Central Time. Beginning Monday, Sept. 12, four additional daily newscasts will be provided via FTP and on Moody-1.

These additional newscasts will be placed on Moody-1 at the following times:

9:55 a.m., 12:55 p.m., 3:55 p.m., and 7:55 p.m. (CT).

If you are pulling The Sift Newscasts from the FTP site, ftp://ftp.moody.edu/Programs/World_Radio_News/, we would recommend that you download it within with 30-35 minutes of your airtime. This way you’ll be sure to have the most current audio file should an update be provided.

The Sift newscasts are posted to FTP as stereo, 44.1 KHz, 32-bit .WAV files.
