Today on BOLD STEPS, Pastor Mark and Josiah Jobe continue their powerful Father’s Day message about speaking blessing into the lives of others. Last time, we began a special Father’s Day message where Mark was joined by his son Josiah to explore the biblical concept of blessing … particularly the powerful impact a father’s words and actions can have on their children. We learned about the importance of meaningful touch and affection as the first component of conveying blessing. As we move ahead, we’ll see the importance of conveying a picture of a special future, pointing out worth, purpose and a greatness that they might not even see yet.

Dr. Mark Jobe
Mark Jobe serves as president of Moody Bible Institute and host of Moody Radio's Bold Steps. He is the author of Unstuck: Out of Your Cave into Your Call (Moody Publishers). He is also the founding pastor of New Life Community Church, a Chicago-based ministry with 27 locations throughout Chicago. Mark earned a diploma from Moody in 1984, a master’s degree from Moody Theological Seminary, and a doctorate in transformational leadership from Bakke Graduate University. He and his wife, Dee, have three adult children.
