NIV Compact Bible Commentary book coverNIV Compact Bible Commentary by John Sailhamer

Imagine studying a masterpiece by looking at only one square at a time. It only makes sense to first step back and get an understanding of the whole picture. This NIV Compact Bible Commentary does just that. It provides you with a look at the Bible as a whole—and then shows you how all its books fit into the bigger story.

Written by the late John Sailhamer, respected professor at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, this commentary reveals how key themes and concepts from earlier books are echoed and expounded on throughout the Bible.
