The Bible is a best-seller, but many people find it a challenge to understand. Join Colin Smith as he unlocks the mystery of Scripture in three parts. Meet God in the Old Testament; encounter his son, Jesus, in the gospels; understand the work of the Holy Spirit in the history and epistles of the New Testament. Whether through personal reading or group study, you can learn how to study God's Word.
Composed of history, prophecy, personal letters, and the four gospels, the New Testament is a complex work of literature—and yet it's much more than a body of writing. Join Paul N. Benware on a Survey of the New Testament as he focuses on the anticipation, institution, and fulfillment of the new covenant. Your faith will deepen as you learn about the content, unity, and progression of the New Testament books.
The Old Testament doesn't have to be confusing. Author Paul Benware says, "The New Testament Scriptures will never be properly understood by a person if the Old Testament Scriptures essentially remain a mystery to him." As you discover pattern, unity, and progression in the first 39 books of the Bible, your understanding of all Scripture will deepen and broaden. Learn and grow in your faith when you read Benware's Survey of the Old Testament.
