Davenport, Iowa Christ’s Family Church in Davenport, Iowa — is welcoming the community to a special night of worship led by Christian duo Poor Bishop Hooper on Thursday March 5, 2026 at 6pm at 4601 Utica Ridge Rd, Davenport, Iowa.
A Kansas-based husband and wife duo whose music has been described as "folk Americana bluegrass meets Baptist revival,” Poor Bishop Hooper is known for its deeply theological and scriptural lyrics. Poor Bishop Hooper will offer The Golgotha Project, a music-centered experience through the stations of the cross. The Golgotha Project was created to help the curious better understand the truth and importance of Jesus’ crucifixion. Contemplating the beautiful visual history that surrounds the “Stations of the Cross” tradition, the collection of music will invite the mind and heart to experience the Saviour’s suffering in new ways. With original music at its core, Golgotha uses powerful visuals, God’s Word, and guided prayer to draw people nearer to Jesus.
“We are excited to host Poor Bishop Hooper and create a space where our community can come together to worship God,” said Pastor Zachary Frayley, Christ’s Family Church. “Our prayer is that our community will come to know the deep love of Jesus.”
The worship service is open to the community. Attendees are encouraged to invite friends, family, and neighbors to join in this meaningful evening.
