WJSO suffered damage from heavy winds that toppled the upper most section of its 170-foot tall guyed tower, thereby knocking the station off-air. Moody Radio's engineering staff is working on a plan to remove the damaged tower, which dates back to WJSO's original sign-on date of 3/14/1989. The process of ordering a new 170-foot guyed replacement tower is expected to take upwards of 30 to 90 days. Therefore WJSO-90.1 FM may be off-air for an extended time. We covet your prayers as we seek to restore WJSO back to on-air status as quickly as possible.
