Thanksgiving 2021 Update

As we remember what we are thankful for this season, we continue to be thankful for you, WJSO listeners who have been praying and patiently waiting for 90.1FM Moody Radio to be restored to full power after winds damaged our tower in April of 2020.  Plans for repair turned into plans for a nearby relocation after costs prohibited us from putting in another tower.  The new site has needed some extensive preparation work before we could move our equipment and that delay has taken far longer than anyone expected.

We are also thankful that we are in the last stages of the preparation work and hope to have 90.1 FM return to full power shortly!  We’ve been able to begin to cover those costs because of the faithful giving of WJSO and other Moody Radio family donations over the years, but your continued gifts of support will help us cover the costs of new transmission line, antenna, new electrical and heating work, as well as other installation expenses. If you’d like to help, you can send a gift of support to WJSO by simply going online to moodyradio.org/wjsogiving. You can also mail your WJSO gift to Moody Radio, 820 North LaSalle Blvd. Chicago, IL 60610.

Your prayerful support of WJSO has brought encouragement and reminders of God’s faithfulness to thousands in our area over the years through Moody Radio’s teaching, talk, and music programming.  We’ve heard from many who have missed hearing it on your radio with the reduced coverage.  While we are also thankful that you can hear WJSO’s programs online at moodyradio.org/pikeville or by downloading the Moody Radio app at moodyradio.org/mobile, we are looking forward to celebrating the return to full power with you at 90.1 FM!

Thank you for your prayer and support of Moody Radio in Pikeville!
