Dr. Charlie Dyer served as provost and professor of Bible at Moody Bible Institute before becoming host of The Land and the Book radio program. Dr. Dyer is an Old Testament scholar as well as an authority on Middle Eastern history and religion. For over 40 years he has traveled extensively throughout Israel and the Middle East. Jon Gauger has worked at Moody Radio for more than three decades. In addition to hosting Today in the Word Radio and Moody Presents with Dr. Mark Jobe, Jon produces and hosts The Land and the Book. He writes and produces a weekly commentary, creates special documentaries, and has traveled to more than 35 countries covering stories for Moody Radio and training international broadcasting partners. Jon is the author of If I Could Do It All Over Again and Kids Say the Wisest Things. Jon, his wife, Diana, and their two grown children are all Moody graduates.
