Andy Tallent is the founder of this nonprofit organization that leverages the power of music through songwriting with those who are incarcerated, dealing with medical issues, and with grief. 2: Teen Mental Health Day
Nearly half of adolescents have suffered a mental health disorder at some point. The downward spiral of mental health, specifically in teens, has been a growing epidemic over the past several years with 49.5 percent being affected. Dr. Joannie DeBrito is a licensed clinical social worker and licensed marriage and family therapist with Focus on the Family. With all of the statistics and pressure mounting against them, how do you come alongside the teen(s) in your life as they work through these struggles?
