Meet the Team
Seth Mela
Seth was born in Lakeland, Florida and earned his BA in English Literature from the University of South Florida. Being raised in a variety of church environments, Seth accepted Jesus as his Savior in January of 1986. Seth and his wife, Kris, married in July of 2000 and have a daughter, Madison. With his curiosity of how money and investment worked, Seth began a career in the financial field and eventually opened his own business, which included a half-hour weekly financial talk radio program. Through this, God began calling Seth into radio, his true talent and passion. As a result, in 2006, Seth sold his business and went into radio full time. God has lead Seth and his family to Wisconsin, Virginia, and now to the Quad Cities of Iowa and Illinois in a journey that has built his faith and strengthened Seth’s desire to serve God.
Deb Gustafson
Deb grew up in Arlington Heights, Ill. Shortly after receiving her bachelor's degree from Wheaton College she went to work for Moody Radio in 1983. She has been a part of the Moody Radio team since then serving in both full and part-time positions. Deb currently is a morning show host and producer for Mornings with Seth and Deb. Deb has been married to her husband, Charly, since 1984. Together they have three grown children. Deb is involved with the Great Commission Team at church and volunteers for an after-school tutoring program at a local ministry. She aspires to be available for God’s use and glory and to remain moldable and obedient to what God would desire for her life and talents.
