In the battle of Jericho, found in the book of Joshua and in May’s TITW devotional study, we get a glimpse of how a particular day can be the most jubilant day of the week, filled with music, trumpets, shouts, and victory. But before that joyous moment, when the walls came down, we observe that the people of God obeyed each of His commands for six full days. Tuesday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Dr. Brian Lee, TITW’s devotional author and Professor of Music at MBI tells us that they were not to say a word until they were told which day to shout (Josh 6:10). God’s people trusted in God’s Word before the outcome knowing the Lord had something greater in store.

Over 20 years ago when a small group of four people began to train, pray, and prepare to launch Celebrate Recovery, they never could have imagined the many people who would come through their doors. Countless hearts softened, facades dropped, emotions released, and souls saved; a beautiful place where true freedom is found only through Jesus. Tuesday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Linda Koeser joins us to share what a blessing it will be to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Celebrate Recovery ministry at Above and Beyond Community Church in Boca Raton on Friday, May 10, 6-9 p.m.

Brian Lee is a classical pianist, church musician, and a creative. He has given solo performances in venues such as the Dame Myra Hess Concert Series, Bargemusic in New York City, concert halls across China, and in many churches and retirement communities. A soloist with professional and community orchestras, he has also given premieres of works by American composers and has collaborated with many accomplished artists including with members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the music faculty at Moody. Over the years, he has served churches as a pianist, keyboardist, singer, and as a worship leader.
