For the gospel's good news to have meaning for us, we first have to understand the bad news of our condition as sinful people. The wrath of God against sin had to be poured out on Jesus, the perfect sacrificial substitute, for forgiveness and salvation to be poured out to redeem the world from bondage.

Jeremiah J. Johnston, PhD, Middlesex/Oxford, (www.christianthinkers.com) is a New Testament scholar and ministers internationally as president of Christian Thinkers Society. Jeremiah loves the local church, and also serves as pastor of apologetics and cultural engagement at Prestonwood Baptist Church and dean of spiritual development at Prestonwood Christian Academy.
Jimmy Scroggins
Pastor Jimmy Scroggins is married to his wife, Kristin and is father to James (Reilly), Daniel (Mary-Madison), Jeremiah, Isaac, Stephen, Anna Kate, Mary Claire, and Caleb, grandfather to James VI and Willow Kate. He is lead pastor of Family Church, and they are dedicated to building families in South Florida through a network of neighborhood churches. Their vision is to see each of their campuses on mission to help people in their neighborhoods discover and pursue God’s design. Together they will reach South Florida with the gospel.
Daniel Darling
Daniel Darling is an author, pastor, and leader. He was recently appointed as the director of the Land Center for Cultural Engagement at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dan is a bestselling author of several books, including The Original Jesus, The Dignity Revolution, The Characters of Christmas, The Characters of Easter, The Characters of Creation, and A Way With Words. He is the general editor, along with Trillia Newbell, of a small group study on racial reconciliation, The Church and the Racial Divide and is a contributor to The Worldview Study Bible. He and his wife Angela have four children.
