Mark Turman, Executive Director of Denison Forum, joins Mornings with Eric and Brigitte on Tuesday to talk to us about Lent, the 40 days leading up to Easter when believers of many denominations fast, pray and reconcile with the Lord. Dr. Jim Denison has written a 47-day Lenten devotional book, Awaken My Heart, where we can ask God to awaken the hearts of our nation, our culture, and ultimately ourselves to the truth of his word and the necessity of a consistent walk with him.

Hour 2: Frugal February - with Chuck Bentley
Tuesday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Chuck Bentley, CEO of Crown Financial Ministries, shares a question he received from a listener, "Last year was the first time I had ever heard of Frugal February. Our family of four plans to try it, and we welcome some of your ideas to make it work." Chuck tells us February is a good month for this challenge and gives us three tips to start with: Frugal Families Work Together, Manage Your Food Costs, and Consider Lifestyle Changes.

Mark Turman
Dr. Mark Turman is the Executive Director of Denison Forum and Senior Contributor for Leadership. Previously, he pastored four churches in Texas across thirty-four years, including twenty-five years as the founding pastor of Crosspoint Church in McKinney, Texas. He holds a D.Min. from Truett Seminary, an M.Div from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a BA from Howard Payne University.
Chuck Bentley
Chuck Bentley is a graduate of Baylor University and the CEO of Crown Financial Ministries. He has traveled throughout the world teaching biblical financial principles to the affluent, middle class, poor, and ultra poor. He's the author of a number of books including Money Problems, Marriage Solutions: 7 Keys to Aligning Your Finances and Uniting Your Hearts, written with his wife Ann. They have been married since 1978 and have four sons and four grandchildren.
