Hour 1: The Business of Ministry - with Jeff Simmons
When Jeff Simmons started in ministry, he was surprised at how much of his time involved business. As our guest on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte on Thursday, Jeff tells us that most people in ministry receive little or no training in this area. When faced with multiple business decisions and tasks a day, leaders can become discouraged or frustrated. As a pastor and entrepreneur, Jeff Simmons can equip pastors and nonprofit leaders with the training they need and help them become effective and wise stewards of the money and resources entrusted to them by God.
Hour 2: Human Trafficking Awareness Month - with Jill Martin
Survivor Advocate of Lighthouse Palm Beach County, Jill Martin joins Mornings with Eric and Brigitte on Thursday to discuss the topic of human trafficking and how it affects our South Florida community. What are the signs that Human Trafficking exists in our local area, and how is the Lighthouse PBC addressing the issue? What can you and I do to help the situation?

Jeff Simmons
Jeff Simmons is the founding and senior pastor of Rolling Hills Community Church, which he and his wife, Lisa, planted twenty years ago. The church has grown from 15 people meeting for a Bible study in an apartment clubhouse on Thursday nights to several thousand people and five campuses in Franklin, Nashville, Nolensville, Columbia, and Haywood Hills. Jeff is a follower of Jesus, husband, and father of three children. He is the President of Justice and Mercy Int'l doing mission work in the countries of Moldova and the Amazon jungle. Jeff is passionate about God's work and longs to make a difference for the glory of God in His day and generation.
Lighthouse Palm Beach County
The mission of Lighthouse Palm Beach County is to offer outreach to women involved in the commercial sex trade in Palm Beach County. Their goals are to gather start-up funding and volunteers to open “LightHouse Dog Treats.” In addition to becoming a funding stream, we want to be able to hire women from the Pop-Up program on a cash basis, to give them the dignity of an honorable paycheck. Long and longer range goals: Create a safe house program for helping survivors move from victims, to survivors, to triumphant thrivers! Processing trauma, and addressing life skill deficits take both time and energy unavailable without some external support.
