Hour 1: In the Beginning: February TITW--Genesis, Part 1 - with Dr. Ryan Cook
It is the beginning of a new year. “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Gen. 1:1). On Tuesday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, MBI professor, Dr. Ryan Cook tells us, "This truth is like the keystone of an arch. If it is removed, the whole edifice will crumble. The basic relationship between God and everything else in existence is this: God is the Creator and everything else is created. This means there is a purpose and meaning in our existence. Second, we learn that everything we have comes from God. We should be filled with gratitude.

On Tuesday’s Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Mark Turman, Executive Director of Denison Forum joins us to reflect on God's blessings during 2023 and look forward to 2024 and what the Lord has in store for us this year. As we reflect on last year and look ahead, we are reminded of our mortality and know that we need to be ready to meet Jesus whenever he returns. He is going to come again!

Ryan J. Cook
Dr. Ryan Cook has taught at Moody Bible Institute since 2012. He earned his bachelor of arts in Bible and Theology from Moody and his master of arts in Old Testament from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. He has worked in Christian education and served as a pastor in Michigan for seven years. During his time as a professor at Moody, he earned his doctorate from Asbury Theological Seminary. He now lives with his wife, Ashley, and their three children in the Chicagoland area.
Mark Turman
Dr. Mark Turman is the Executive Director of Denison Forum and Senior Contributor for Leadership. Previously, he pastored four churches in Texas across thirty-four years, including twenty-five years as the founding pastor of Crosspoint Church in McKinney, Texas. He holds a D.Min. from Truett Seminary, an M.Div from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a BA from Howard Payne University.
