For over 50 years, South Florida FCA has had a strong presence in the tri-county area, most notably hosting the Orange Bowl Prayer Breakfast in the lead up to the Orange Bowl Game. This event has featured keynote speakers and testimonies from coaches and players represented in the Bowl game. Friday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Desmond Cook, South Atlantic Multi-Area Director of FCA joins us to talk about the prayer breakfast and also to share some tips on "Finishing 2023 Strong".

Jon Gauger
For more than three decades, Jon Gauger has served with Moody Radio as a writer, producer, and host. He is rarely seen without a camera, shooting photos and video for Moody Radio and others. In addition to The Land and the Book, Jon is heard on Moody Presents, Today in the Word, the Praise and Worship Channel, and Majesty Radio. He has traveled to 38 countries as a journalist, speaker, or trainer. An award-winning narrator, Jon has voiced 75 audiobooks and has written If I Could Do It All Over Again and Kids Say the Wisest Things. Jon is married to Diana, and they have two grown children and six truly extraordinary grandchildren. The Gaugers love reading, camping (trailers, not tents), and great Mexican food.
Desmond Cook
Desmond Cook is the South Atlantic Multi-Area Director of FCA, sits on the Board of Directors and is Treasurer for The McDougle Family Foundation, was Vice President of Youth Power Movement, and was dean of Biblical Studies at First Bethel Baptist Church.
