We see light’s powerful attraction in the Nativity story. The Magi from the east came to Jerusalem drawn by the light from His star. When they arrived, they wanted to know, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him” (Matt. 2:2). On Friday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, devotional author and MBI professor Eric W. Moore shares that light doesn't leave people neutral. "Jesus is the Light of the World", and He will not leave us unchanged.

Dr. Mark Jobe
President of the Moody Bible Institute
Dr. Mark Jobe serves as the 10th president of Moody Bible Institute and as host of Moody Radio’s Bold Steps program heard nationally. He is the founding senior pastor of New Life Community Church, a multi-site church meeting in 27 locations throughout the Chicago area. He is also the founder of New Life Centers, an organization focused on helping youth in underserved areas of Chicago. Dr. Jobe earned a diploma from Moody Bible Institute in 1984, a master’s degree from Moody Theological Seminary, and a doctorate in transformational leadership from Bakke Graduate University. He is the author of What Now?: How to Move into Your Next Season (Moody Publishers). A passionate proclaimer of the gospel, Mark and his wife, Dee, have three adult children and two grandchildren.
Eric W. Moore
Eric W. Moore is Professor and Chair of the Applied Theology Field at Moody Theological Seminary. Eric is a graduate of Michigan State University, Dallas Theological Seminary, the University of Michigan, and Western Seminary. He is the author of Pastoring the Small Church and a contributor the One Volume Seminary (Moody Publishers). He has pastored Tree of Life Bible Fellowship Church for over two decades. Eric and his wife, Marilyn, live in southeast Michigan and have three children.
