With songs like "Control" and "By Your Side," contemporary Christian music band Tenth Avenue North rocked the Christian music scene for over twenty years until they disbanded in 2021 . . . but they aren't done just yet. This Friday, November TENTH, Tenth Avenue North, is set to make the announcement that the band is back with the release of a brand-new single! Friday on Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Dove award winner and lead singer of the band, Mike Donehey will share about the band's comeback and the excitement surrounding the moment!

On Friday's Mornings with Eric and Brigitte, Alex Nsengimana from Operation Christmas Child joins us to share his personal sotry with us and encourage our listeners to pack a shoebox this Christmas season! Alex received a shoebox from Operation Christmas Child one year after arriving at the orphanage and remembers being so excited to have a gift to call his own. The shoebox gift sowed seeds of hope and love that he desperately needed, and he realized that God had a specific plan for his life. Alex now serves with Operation Christmas Child paying forward the hope and love he received through a shoebox gift.

Mike Donehey
Mike Donehey has seen his fair share of the unexpected. Following a potentially fatal car crash as a teen, Mike learned to play the guitar while still in bed recovering from his injuries. Learning the guitar quickly gave birth to songwriting, and that songwriting quickly led to the formation of a band. That band, Tenth Avenue North, became one of the most loved and successful artists in Christian music. At the beginning of 2020, despite widespread notoriety and a devout following, Tenth Avenue North’s members began to sense they each had their own unexpected and unique roads to follow. Mike has seized this opportunity, reveling in the excitement to expand as a storyteller, communicator and thought instigator wherever his voice is heard.
Alex Nsengimana
Growing up in the midst of an unstable Rwandan government, Alex Nsengimana experienced first-hand the travesties of his nation's genocide. At the height of tribal unrest, the genocide claimed the lives of his caregivers. Fleeing for his life, Nsengimana escaped gunmen and eventually ended up in an orphanage that was his home for the next several years. Alex received a shoebox from OCC one year after arriving at the orphanage and remembers being so excited to have a gift to call his own. He not serves with Operation Christmas Child paying forward the hope and love he received through a shoebox gift.
