Hour 2: Israel at War with Hamas After Unprecedented Attacks - with Dr. Charlie Dyer
Old Testament scholar and Professor-at-large of Bible at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Dr. Charlie Dyer joins Mornings with Eric and Brigitte on Monday to talk about Saturday's surprise attack by Hamas on Israel and the over 1,100 people that have been killed and many hostages taken captive. He will share how we can be praying for the people of Israel as the fighting continues. God’s call to “pray for the peace of Jerusalem” (Psalm 122:6) has never been more urgent than it is today.

Dr. Mark Jobe
President of the Moody Bible Institute
Dr. Mark Jobe serves as the 10th president of Moody Bible Institute and as host of Moody Radio’s Bold Steps program heard nationally. He is the founding senior pastor of New Life Community Church, a multi-site church meeting in 27 locations throughout the Chicago area. He is also the founder of New Life Centers, an organization focused on helping youth in underserved areas of Chicago. Dr. Jobe earned a diploma from Moody Bible Institute in 1984, a master’s degree from Moody Theological Seminary, and a doctorate in transformational leadership from Bakke Graduate University. He is the author of What Now?: How to Move into Your Next Season (Moody Publishers). A passionate proclaimer of the gospel, Mark and his wife, Dee, have three adult children and two grandchildren.
Charlie Dyer
Dr. Charlie Dyer served as provost and professor of Bible at Moody Bible Institute before becoming professor-at-large and host of The Land and the Book radio program. Dr. Dyer is an Old Testament scholar as well as an authority on Middle Eastern history and religion. For the past fiour decades he has traveled extensively throughout Israel and the Middle East. Charlie has authored and co-edited many books on the Middle East and the Old Testament.
