Dawn and Steve in the Morning share a devotional from Blackaby Ministries International about renewing our minds!
Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 1:13
Also, author Jonathan Malm will discuss how we can thrive in ministry based on his book Don't Burn Out Burn Bright. Jonathan Malm is an author and creative entrepreneur. He grew up in the mountains of Guatemala as a missionary kid and then moved to Texas where he finished his high school and his Bachelors degree in Marketing. After college, he began working at a church as a creative director where he had his hand in everything from leading worship to running the technological side of things. During that time, Jonathan developed a passion for the creative process and for helping churches effectively and creatively communicate. He launched multiple websites and blogs. Those websites grew and he eventually made the transition to self-employment so he could focus on managing those projects. Jonathan has had the privilege of speaking at many conferences and even directing a conference for creative church communicators.
Author Katie Schnack will encourage us with her honest and inspirational book Everything Is (Not) Fine: Finding Strenght When Life Gets Annoyingly Difficult.
Katie is a writer who loves to make people laugh and feel less alone. She has also written the book The Gap Decade: When You're Technically An Adult But Really Don't Feel Like It Yet. She is married to Kyle and has two children. They live in West Palm Beach, FL.
Dawn and Steve celebrate the penultimate Fri-YAY in addition to discussing Fall plans and social media!
