Steve Schmidt also joins us this hour to talk about Love Packages, a worldwide missionary outreach, which circulates Christian literature by collecting new, used, and outdated material from across the United States and ships it to Third World countries.

Steve is a dynamic preacher who has ministered in many different nations, at youth conventions, churches, crusades, and has been the keynote speaker for the General Council of the Assemblies of God, Philippines. He is the founder and director of Love Packages, a ministry he began in 1975.

Dawn and Steve welcome Tara Dew to explore three surprising paths to overflowing joy as taught by Jesus in John 15. Tara is the author of Overflowing Joy: What Jesus Says about a Joy-Filled Life. 

Dr. Tara Dew is the President's wife of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, LA. At NOBTS, she is also an adjunct professor in the ministry to women program, as well as the Director of THRIVE (a Ministry Wives Certificate Program). Tara is a Bible teacher, author, and speaker, who is invited to women’s events and retreats throughout the United States.
