Celebrating 100 Years: Remembering 9/11
Today on Karl and Crew, we wrapped up our weekly theme, “The Anxious Generation,” by asking: What are you carrying today that you need to lay down? Dr. Joseph Stowell, former president of Moody Bible Institute, reflected on Moody Radio’s response to 9/11 and pointed listeners to God’s sovereignty and the hope of the gospel. Bruce Everhart, Vice President and Chief Development Officer at Moody Bible Institute, shared how Moody Radio became a source of prayer and biblical encouragement after the attacks. Wayne Shepherd, a veteran radio broadcaster, recalled how Moody Radio offered hope and truth during a time of tragedy and uncertainty. Mark Elfstrand, former host and executive producer of The Morning Ride on Moody Radio, reflected on being on the air during 9/11 as listeners searched for answers.
