Hour 1: Beautiful Freedom

Understanding what God wants from us may not be the real challenge; where the true difficulty lies is in actually following through with His will. Join Dawn and Steve in the Morning for a devotional from Blackaby Ministries International about obedience.

In addition, Dawn welcomes Stacy Reaoch to help us explore God's priorities for the way we live, eat, and exercise based on her book Beautiful Freedom. Stacy is a pastor's wife, mother of four, author and speaker.  She's passionate about studying the Bible and helping women apply Gospel truths to daily life through Bible study, discipleship, and writing. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Ben. Together they serve Three Rivers Grace Church in Pittsburgh, PA.

Hour 2: Sacred Work

Dawn invites Peggy Bodde to discuss sacred work and why it matters to God. Peggy transitioned from the senior vice president of supply chain to a full-time writer and small business owner in 2014. She also runs a foundation called Sacred Work that provides women with free career and leadership coaching. Peggy writes textbooks and web copy for marketing firms, but her passions are writing about the intersection between faith and work and empowering women to show up boldly in both spaces.

Also this hour, Michele Howe has a conversation with Dawn about humility. Michele's book The Humble Life: Walking with Jesus through the Gospels encourages believers to examine Jesus' interactions with people as a powerful model for us in an increasingly volatile world. Michele has published over 3000 reviews/articles and has been featured on numerous radio shows across the country speaking on topics such as parenting and a diverse range of women's health issues. She is also the author of twenty-one books for women. In addition to her article and book writing, Michele writes a weekly women's lifestyle and single parenting column at HopeAfterDivorce.org. She is also featured in the new Single & Parenting Resource Video Series as a parenting expert.

Hour 3: Bible Q&A with Dr. Michael Rydelnik

Do you have questions about the Bible? Dr. Michael Rydelnik will join Dawn and Steve in the Morning to take questions from listeners! Dr. Michael Rydelnik is a professor of Jewish Studies at Moody Bible Institute and the Bible teacher on Moody Radio's Open Line.

To wrap up today's show, Moody author Kat Shultis reminds us that even in the hardest things, we get to fix our eyes on the God who brings us out of the dark night. In her book, My Lowest for His Highest, Kat shares with honesty and depth about walking through valleys and days of wilderness.

Kat lives in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, with her husband, Casey, and their son. Their company, HeWouldLoveFirst.com, answers the question What Would Jesus Do? She leads a ministry called Be a Blessing to help girls with body image and disordered eating habits and shares encouragement online for women with various struggles she has walked through as well.
