A graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Derick spent over thirty-five years working in the engineering and business technology consulting fields. During his career, he has been blessed with opportunities to launch Space Shuttles, lead business and technology transformation programs, and lead an organization of over 5,000 people with revenues of over one billion dollars annually. During his successful career, he studied to understand how to marry his spiritual journey with his professional journey. Derick put together a ten-part class at his church to share what he had learned with other professionals who had similar questions about marrying their faith with their careers. From that class, he penned his book Business as a Calling, Bringing Your Whole Self (Body, Soul, and Spirit) to Work to help professionals navigate their spiritual and professional journeys.

Lee Ann emphasizes that our children need "heart change," not just behavioral change. This parenting tool goes beyond surface-level advice and provides a blueprint for teaching children essential Christian principles, enabling them to navigate a bond with their heavenly Father.

Lee Ann is the founder of Raising Christian Kids, Inc. and host of a podcast with the same name. RCK offers resources and a "Tips from the Experts" video series. Her mission is to equip and empower ministry leaders, parents, grandparents, teachers, and all who are raising the next generation to have a strong foundation in Jesus. Lee Ann is an award-winning Christian children’s author and executive producer of the animation series, Sea Kids, which can be viewed on Answers TV, PureFlix, Right Now Media, and SeaKidsTV. She is also an adjunct professor at South Florida Bible College & Theological Seminary.
