Hour 2: Bold Lines

Dawn and Steve welcome Travis Thompson to the show to discuss mental health, trauma, and his new podcast, Bold Lines. 

Travis is a Murfreesboro native who has experience working in Middle Tennessee.  His therapy journey began at Lee University where I completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology.  Travis then continued at Lee and completed his Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy soon after.  He is currently a doctoral candidate in the subject of Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis on Addiction Treatment and Research at Northcentral University.  Travis primarily works with individuals, couples, and families that struggle with addiction.  His innovative and holistic approach helps meet each member of a family or couple in their pain and restore a healing path toward recovery.

Do you have questions about the Bible? Dr. Michael Rydelnik will join Dawn and Steve in the Morning to take questions from listeners! Dr. Michael Rydelnik is a professor of Jewish Studies at Moody Bible Institute and the Bible teacher on Moody Radio's Open Line.

To wrap up today's show, Chuck Mingo and Troy Thomas Jackson will help us explore racial reconciliation with their book  Living Undivided: Loving Courageously for Racial Healing and Justice. 

Chuck is a speaker, author, founder, and CEO of the nonprofit UNDIVIDED and a Teaching Pastor at Crosswords Church. He earned his Bachelors in Business Administration at Duquesne University. Chuck and his wife are busy raising three children and call Cincinatti, OH home. 

Troy is a community organizer, pastor, leader, and writer. He has been with UNDIVIDED since its founding. He is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary and earned his PH.D in U.S. history from the University of Kentucky. With their children grown, Troy and his wife moved to a cabin outside of Cincinnati, OH with their two dogs, Pip and Pico.
