Hour 1: Car Line Mom Devotional

Start your day with Dawn and Steve as they share a devotional from Blackaby Ministries International about how our sin impacts the lives of others.

Joel Rosenberg also joins the conversation to provide an update on Israel. To wrap up this first hour, Caris Snider will encourage moms with her new book Car Line Mom Devotional: 100 Days of Encouragement for the Mama Who Gets Everybody Everywhere. Caris loves to share the hope of God through speaking, writing, coaching, and leading worship. She is the author of Anxiety Elephants: 31 Day Devotional and Anxiety Elephants: 90 Day Devotional for Tween Boys and Girls. From her own personal experience, she helps women in their journey of overcoming depression, anxiety, fear, and shame. Caris lives with her husband, Brandon, and two daughters in Cullman, Alabama.


Hour 2: Healthy Grieving

Grief can be sneaky and unapologetic and difficult to recognize at times. Natasha Smith author of Can You Just Sit with Me?: Healthy Grieving for the Losses of Life will draw from her own experience of grief to help us reflect on what it means to cling to hope and heal during our darkest moments.

Natasha is a wife, mom, and NC native. She is a writer, speaker, and podcaster, who shares stories on faith, family, and grief. She has inspired others through her writing for over 12 years. Her work has appeared in Guideposts and Focus on the Family print publications. And Her View From Home, TODAY Parents, Pray with Confidence, and other e-publications.


Hour 3: Israel

What foods have you learned to enjoy as an adult that you disliked as a child? Dawn and Steve have a conversation about all things food!

We finish today's show with an update on the Middle East from Jon Gauger. Jon Gauger has worked at Moody Radio for more than three decades. In addition to hosting Today in the Word Radio and Moody Presents with Dr. Mark Jobe, Jon produces and hosts The Land and the Book.
