Many people think that the Bible is a cobbled–together selection of ancient writings that have been changed so many times over hundreds of years that surely the text can no longer be trusted. Dr. Timothy Jones will make the case that belief in the Bible is far from unreasonable. Join us as he takes a look at common questions and doubts about the Bible. Learn how to better 'contend for the faith' by knowing what you believe and why it can be believed.

How do we lay a spiritual foundation that our children will build on for the rest of their days? Dennis and Barbara Rainey will draw on their expertise gleaned through their years of ministry to offer advice on how to help our kids discover who they are in Christ, live wisely and honorably, foster godly connections, and understand God's purpose for their lives.

Dr. Timothy Paul Jones
Dr.Timothy Paul Jones serves as associate vice president and professor of Christian apologetics at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, the flagship school of the Southern Baptist Convention and one of the largest seminaries in the world. Before coming to Southern Seminary, Dr. Jones led churches in Missouri and Oklahoma as a pastor and an associate pastor. He now serves as one of the pastors at the Midtown congregation of Sojourn Community Church. Dr. Jones has written widely in the fields of apologetics and family ministry. Charles Colson once listed Jones as one of "four names you need to know" when responding to the new atheists. Dr. Jones holds the bachelor of arts degree in biblical studies at Manhattan Christian College. He has also earned the Master of Divinity degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and the Doctor of Philosophy degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has taught biblical languages at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and at Oklahoma Baptist University, as well as lecturing on the reliability of the New Testament Gospels at the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill) at forums sponsored by InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Dr. Jones has been interviewed on numerous radio and television programs, including WGN Morning News, Fox & Friends, Crosstalk America, and Bible Answer Man.
Dennis & Barbara Rainey
Dennis and Barbara Rainey are cofounders of FamilyLife, a Cru ministry, where Dennis hosted the daily radio program FamilyLife Today. Barbara is the creator of Ever Thine Home, a collection of decorative products women can use to make their homes a witness for their faith.
