Hour 2: A Christian Perspective
This hour, we visit with Dr. George Barna, Director of the Cultural Research Center at ACU. He will share the latest findings from the American Worldview Inventory that reveal the American biblical worldview crisis is worse than most people realize. Then Clint Lyons, Executive Director of iReachGlobal, will update us on the unrelenting persecution of Christians in Nigeria.

Sarah Parshall Perry
Sarah Parshall Perry is the Vice President and Legal Fellow at Defending Education. She is a former Senior Counsel to the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Education, and former Senior Legal Fellow in the Edwin Meese III Center for Legal and Judicial Studies at the Heritage Foundation. Her writing and advocacy in the areas of parental rights and constitutional, civil rights, and administrative law have been cited by or yielded appearances in both national and international media outlets, including the Associated Press, BBC World News, ABC News, Fox News, The Washington Times, NPR, The Hill, and The New York Times, among others. She testifies regularly on Capitol Hill, serves on the executive committee for civil rights of the Federalist Society, has a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, and is the author of two books on the trials and triumphs of raising children on the autism spectrum.
George Barna
George Barna is the Director of Research and cofounder of the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University. He is also an ACU professor, focusing on worldview assessment and development, and cultural transformation. He was the founder and leader of the Barna Group, a research company that has set the standard for understanding trends in American culture. In addition, Barna serves as Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Biblical Worldview at the Family Research Council. He has taught at the undergraduate and graduate level, and has pastored two churches. Barna has written more than 50 books, including numerous award-winners and New York Times bestsellers.
Clint Lyons
Clint Lyons serves as an Executive Director at iReach Global which is focused on empowering persecuted Christians through physical care, spiritual growth, and community impact. Lyons previously served as Chief Executive Officer (Acting) and Chief Operations Officer at The Root Cause, a nonprofit health ministry. Lyons previously served as Director of Operations at World Refugee Care and as Field Strategist and Manager of Communications at NEXT Worldwide.
