In our internet, social media saturated society we seem to have lost an important practice of good communication, people skills. On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we shared the 4 levels of communication and the power of body language as part of developing viable people skills that open doors of opportunity to empathize with others and share the hope of the gospel with them. We shared the insights of a highly respected financial educators who gave you some practical advice on how to manage your money in practical and God honoring ways. It used to be truth was truth was truth. No matter where you came from truth was unquestioned. But not today. We spoke to a Christian leader who says that today is determined by the individual and their own viewpoints and preferences. Our guest encouraged us stand up and be an advocate for God’s truth in our vacillating world. What will the life of believers be like in Eternity? Our guest took us to the scriptures to pull back the veil and give us a glimpse of the glory that is to come. He showed us how a clear understanding of the life to come can be an engine to motivate us to live godly lives on this side of Heaven. It may be a new year but many of the same challenges still face us. Join us for another demonstration on how to use the wisdom of God’s word to discern the truth from deception in the headlines of the week.
On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we spoke to a messianic believer who shared his own journey to discovering the truth about Jesus the Messiah. He also took us to the scriptures to show how the prophecies of the Old Testament were fulfilled in the life of Jesus the Messiah. We heard the story of how imprisonment in a foreign country led one man to the foot of the cross and a lifetime of service sharing the gospel to people all around the world. Then we talked about what led Peru to give rights to bees and why this is another dangerous step in efforts of the anti-humanist agenda. We took you back in time to the Island of Patmos as a highly respected bible teacher opened our eyes to the incredible blueprint of the future that God shared with John and how that plan can serve as a motivation for faith during our most challenging times. We all try to avoid suffering in our lives. But it comes to each our lives in one way or another. What if we can reframe how we look at these challenging times from a different perspective. Our guests, a husband-and-wife teaching team, took us into some of their own difficult times to share the lessons they learned about allowing God to use those times to shape our lives as He desires and for our own good. It may be 2026 but our need to understand how to use God’s word as a measuring stick of truth in the world today hasn’t changed. That’s why we once again invite you to another important conversation with our favorite husband and wife team who continue to teach us how to examine the news through the unfiltered lens of scripture.
