Hour 1: The Early Life of Jesus

The birth of Jesus stands as a pivotal moment in the history of the world, marking a dramatic turning point in God’s plan to redeem creation from sin and death. Much to the world’s surprise, redemption had arrived . . . in the form of a lowly baby. Aimed at stirring your affections for Jesus, Dr. Andreas Kostenberger will lead us on a journey through the Gospels’ birth narratives, clearing away common misconceptions, making messianic connections, and setting the stage for Jesus’s later life and ministry.

Hour 2: The Messianic Hope

Professor Emeritus of Jewish studies and the Bible, Dr Michael Rydelnik, will join us to put forth a thesis that the Old Testament was intended by its authors to be read as a messianic primer. He will explain how the text reveals significant direct messianic prophecy when read in its final form. Join us to discover that Jesus can easily be found in the Old Testament.
