Hour 1: Leaving Mormonism

In college, Lisa Brockman found herself challenged to defend her faith, and the beliefs she knew to be true began to unravel. Today, she shares her journey of discovering the biblical Jesus and the key conversations that led her from the faith of her ancestors to conversion to Christianity. She will help us understand the nuances of the history and evolution of Mormon culture, and we will learn to identify the vital differences between the Mormon and biblical plans of salvation.

Imagine having no point of reference for the Christmas story. How would you share the story of Jesus’ birth with your Muslim friends? Al Fafi, a former Wahhabi Muslim from Saudi Arabia, will teach us how to compassionately share the message of the Good News, especially at Christmas.
