Hour 1: The Stability of His Everlasting Arms

The real St. Nick was not a jolly old man driving a sleigh of magic reindeer but a real man of deep faith. On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week learned more about this very important man and his deep and sacrificial devotion to God and to others. We tend to think of economics in terms of financial figures, but our guest shared a power story of how the free market and what it provides became a life saving factor in her daughter’s life and a life changing factor in her own. We once again spent time with an expert in the area of technology to address the growing concerns over the increased use of artificial intelligence, better known as A.I.. He shared his insights into the concerns that parents should have about this ever-encroaching technology and how it has and will continue to impact the lives of their children. The story of God becoming man in the form of a babe in a manger is so much bigger than we tend to think. We spoke to a highly respected pastor who pulled back the veil of eternity to help us see the powerful lessons about God encased in His choice to become flesh and dwell among us. It is THAT time of year again. A time where, despite all good intentions, it is often impossible to avoid stress as we prepare and celebrate the Christmas season. To help you navigate these challenges we turned to one of our favorite experts on family issues to give us clear, biblically sound guidance on how to navigate the anxiety that can come from these pressure-filled times and find true joy in the midst of this Christmas holiday. The week is coming to an end and that means we are inviting you to join our favorite husband and wife team as they continue teaching us how to analyze what we hear in the news and measure it against God’s unblemished wisdom.

Hour 2: Safe And Secure From The Alarms of Life

The idea of “gay celibacy” on its face sounds like a reasonable idea our guest exposed the deception of it. On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we spoke to a former gay man who is now on the front lines of this issue who explained the confusion that this idea is creating in the lives of people and why some Christian leaders are buying into this false narrative that discounts God’s clear guidance for feel good teaching that dismiss the truth. The transformation of lives in Iran is still going on and we shared more stories of God at work in that Middle Eastern nation. But these are still dangerous times in that part of the world and we spoke to a man who has served over there for many years as he shared stories of the persecution those who choose Jesus face and despite their persecution, there unwillingness to deny their faith. For many people Hanukkah is considered a “Jewish version of Christmas” because they don’t really understand the significance of the celebration. But just as Christmas focuses on the birth of Jesus, our guest a respected leader in Jews for Jesus, shared the true story of this celebration and how Jesus fits into it.  Just as Jesus came once as a babe, He will return to earth but in a much different form with a much different purpose. We spoke to a highly respected pastor who says that believers should not fear His return but use its inevitability as motivation and drive to live out their faith with courage and boldness. From the challenges of A.I. to the dangers of social media, parents have to be vigilant watchmen on the wall for their families. And that requires a clear understanding of God’s guidance through His word. We invite you once again to join us for another examination of the news through the unchanging lens of scripture.
