Hour 2: Understanding In Times of Uncertainty

On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we learned what it means to set boundaries, why believers struggle to do it and why it is so important. Our guest use Paul’s letter to the Colossians to help us understand the biblical guidance on setting up boundaries and he gave us guidance on how those boundaries work when dealing with real life issues such as have child who is dating or married to an unbeliever or a child who is choosing a gay or trans lifestyle.  Then we turned our attention to some encourage news about the decreasing numbers of abortions in 2025 before we looked at the FDA and the ongoing battle over the home abortion pill. We turned our attention to our neighbor to the north where learned about a dementia patient that was euthanized and a popular medical journal that is blaming so-called governmental bad health policies on the far-right. In the midst of the struggles of life it can feel like God and his love are far away. But we turned to a highly respected bible teacher and theologian to draw us back to the Bible and remind us of the unchanging steadfast love of God. He helped us understand what God’s love is and is not, the lies we believe about His love and how we can break down the barriers in our life that keep us from accepting the vast storehouse of His love. The veil between our world and supernatural world is very thin.
