Many believers know that “God is love.” But whether through cultural lies, false beliefs, or years of mulling over the tragedies of the world, it may be difficult to see the true, steadfast, and unchanging love of the Father. Thankfully, the Bible offers a clear picture of what God’s love looks like and how, through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, believers experience His affection for themselves. Pastor and theologian Dr. Sam Storms will address what God’s love is and what it isn’t. Join us as Dr. Storms breaks down obstacles that prevent believers from accepting biblical truths and challenges the cultural lies that hinder them from accepting God’s vast and unfathomable love.

Douglas Groothuis
Dr. Douglas R. Groothuis is a highly esteemed Christian Philosopher and Apologist amongst Evangelical circles. Other than being a gifted speaker and communicator, he is the author of 15 books and numerous academic publications. Douglas is currently the Professor of Philosophy at Denver Seminary. Heis a member of the Evangelical Theological Society, Evangelical Philosophical Society, and Society of Christian Philosophers. Dr. Groothuis received a PhD and a BS from the University of Oregon, and an MA in philosophy from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He has served as adjunct professor at Seattle Pacific University, visiting instructor in apologetics for Westminster Theological Seminary, and instructor at the University of Oregon.
Dr. Sam Storms
Dr. Sam Storms (PhD, University of Texas at Dallas) is the founder of Enjoying God Ministries. He has spent more than four decades in ministry as a pastor, and professor. He was previously a visiting associate professor of theology at Wheaton College from 2000 to 2004. Sam serves as a member of the Council of The Gospel Coalition, and is a past President of the Evangelical Theological Society. Most recently Sam founded and serves as Executive Director for Convergence Church Network.
