Hour 1: Meeting Us In Our Place Of Want

We’ve all heard the old adage, “If you love what you do, you never work a day in your life.” But is that REALLY true? On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week our guest introduced us to a step-by-step process that can teach us how to see work through a different lens than we have looked at it before and in the process teach us how to pursue truly purpose-driven, fulfilling work. For decades upon decades the lie that the Jewish people do not need the saving work of Jesus on the cross, but our guest says that lie is so dangerous because of the eternal consequences that come with believing it. He took us back to scripture to show how His role as the Redeemer is for all people in all nations and is pivotal to the God’s promise to restore the nation of Israel and redeem the other nations. The daughter of arguably the most respected evangelist of the 20th century and a highly respected Bible teacher in her own right, joined us for an eye-opening tour of the final book of the Bible. She helped us understand the importance of the final book of the Bible, why John was on Patmos and why there is a continual blessing to who read it. Times are unsettled in the Middle East, especially in Iran. The leader of one of the most important ministries to this nation joined us once again to discuss how the unrest is impacting the lives of believers in Iran and how we can pray for these fellow believers. Then we shared the powerful personal journey of a woman who came to the foot of the cross through the valley the occult and demonism. As we end another week, just one look at the news reminds us once again that we live in a broken, backward world. That’s why it is imperative to be watchmen and watchwomen on the wall in our homes, communities and churches. To that end we invite you for another probing examination of the stories making headlines this week through the clear, undiluted viewpoint of God’s word.

Hour 2: Guiding Us In Our Time Of Need

On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we provided you with some much-needed encouragement. Believers are often tested on the job to compromise on their faith in one way or another. Our guest used God’s word and his own experience to guide is in how to navigate these challenges wisely and well without compromising our witness in the workplace. What do you do when your expectations for your life and that of your family are turned upside down? Our guest took us into her personal story to share how God met her at one of the most trying times in her life and the life of her family and demonstrated that He is still the God who can meet us in our deepest places of hurt and grief. Negative emotions related to broken parental attachments can multiply and cripple our lives in dramatic ways. Our guests, a father and daughter team, used their expertise to explain how we can lean into God’s healing power to recognize our worth in Him and find true restoration and freedom through Him. They helped us better understand what “the Blessing” is and why it is so important and the impact of our relationship with our human fathers on how we relate to our heavenly father. A woman who found Christ out of a life of drugs and sexual confusion joined us to share her powerful journey to saving faith. She shared how God has taken her life transformation and used it as a springboard to lead others who are struggling in similar ways to His loving arms. Once again, the doors to our radio classroom are open and our favorite husband and wife teaching team are back at it, guiding us in learning how to use the measuring stick of God’s word to examine the rhetoric and mistruths multiplying daily in the news of the week.
