We start the hour by taking a look at some of the stories making headlines before visiting with Dr. George Barna, of the Cultural Research Center, who will discuss his latest report on the American worldview. What his data shows is that most Americans reject the biblical view of sin – even in the Church. Then, we talk with Todd Nettleton, who will report on his latest visit to the Persecuted Church. Get ready to lengthen your prayer list and open your Bible.
As the culture around us continues to stumble blindly into evil and turmoil, it’s easy to lose heart and grow weary in your faith. But what if God has been preparing you for this very time all along? Everything changes when you say yes to God’s call to “be diligent” as you await “the coming of the day of God” (2 Peter 3:12, 15). Pastor Jack Hibbs will challenge us to live a biblically based, passionate faith—resilient, immovable, and effective in our chaotic and troubled world. He will help us
· represent Christ courageously to a world in need
· influence our increasingly secular culture in transformative ways
· overcome the fear of intimidation or persecution
