Hour 1: Light For The Journey
What does it really look like to follow God’s leading wherever it might take you? On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we shared the story of an Australian man who did just that. And his obedience has led to the creation of one of the most unique museums in the world and the recreation of the most famous boat in human history. He gave us a deeper understanding of what it means to really trust God to lead the path of your life and the rich blessings of eternal impact that come when we do. The sexual revolution of the 60’s and 70’s turned societal acceptance of traditional marriage and family on it head at the time. But looking back on it in hindsight the facts bear out a different truth. Where proponents saw it as the endgame, our guest showed us how it was in fact a symptom of a much larger and more important issue in the human heart, the search for identity. He helped us see that this search apart from God’s perfect plan for our identity in Him, leads to what we saw and still see today, confusion, uncertainty and misguided living. We spoke to a cognitive scientist who used his field of expertise to show us that contrary to some modern beliefs, our brains and the way they are wired, demonstrate the truth of God’s word that we are both physical and spiritual beings. Hollywood has reduced the supernatural world into a series of spooky clichés but the reality of the unseen world impacts the lives of every one of us, especially believers. That is why we once again invited on of our favorite pastor/ teachers to answer your most important questions about angels, demons and how thin the veil is between our world and theirs. It is time to turn our attention to some of the important news headlines of the week that you may or may not have seen, as we get beyond the headlines and use God’s word to discern the rhetoric from the reality.

On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we invited you to ask your most pressing questions on narcissism and its impact on lives and families. Our guest, who not only bring her professional expertise but also her personal experience to the discussion once again drew us back to God’s word for guidance in dealing and healing from this most dangerous personality type. Your most challenging questions on the bible and the Christian life were front and center as one our favorite bible teachers gave us solid, biblical answers to your most perplexing queries. There is a concerted and determined effort underway in many churches to turn aside from traditional Christianity. This deconstructionist viewpoint is leading many people to create a “spirituality” that spares them from the difficult parts of the faith. It can also lead them completely away from their faith into false beliefs like agnosticism, the occult and atheism. Our guest, a highly respected apologist is sounding the alarm on the dangers of deconstructionism as well as providing solid bible guidance for families who are dealing with a loved one who facing these challenges to their life and faith. She explained the origins of this movement and how it is hooking and leading so many astray from “the faith of our fathers”. Despite the violent, unprovoked attack on Israel a few years ago, we are seeing a continued effort to discredit the Jewish people around the world. Yet God’s word promises a blessing to those who bless His chosen people and land. But what does that promise really mean? Our guest, a messianic believer shared his insights on this topic and many others related to the Jewish people, where they came from, their prophetic destination and how what happens to this small nation continue to have a dramatic and long-lasting impact on the rest of the world. Craig Parshall
Craig Parshall serves as Special Counsel to the American Center for Law and Justice on Internet, Supreme Court, and governmental issues, and is an advisor to the American Principles Project on big tech governance. He writes and speaks widely on those subjects. He has testified frequently before committees of the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives on First Amendment issues, and before the Federal Communications Commission on communication and policy matters. Mr. Parshall was the founder of the John Milton Project for Digital Free Speech during his tenure as Sr. V.P. and General Counsel for NRB, the first project of its kind to analyze the potential for viewpoint suppression on market-dominant Internet platforms.
As an appellate attorney, Craig has represented clients in constitutional, civil liberty, and media cases before the U.S. Supreme Court, most of the U.S. Courts of Appeal, and before several state supreme courts. He received his J.D. from Marquette University Law School and a B.S. degree in English, Religion, and Philosophy from Carroll College. Mr. Parshall is also a best-selling fiction writer of 13 suspense novels with story lines that highlight the intersections of law, religion, culture, and technology.
