Hour 1: Surrendered Sexuality
We tend to have pockets of our lives dominated by the flesh and driven by cultural wisdom. For many, sexuality is one of those pockets. Christians are confused about God’s views on sex and intimacy. In today’s culture, we struggle to grasp the meaning or purpose of our sexuality. We don't know how to make sense of our temptation, shame, brokenness, longings, or desires. What is more, Christian churches and families are divided in the nuances of sexuality, neglecting Jesus’ most important call to be unified as His body. Dr. Juli Slattery will join us to bring her years of experience, biblical knowledge, and passion for the Lord in applying the call of Christians to surrender their views, questions, and pain to the God who changes everything.
Hour 2: Science and Salvation
This hour, we get an update on Iran Alive ministries to learn how Iranians are responding not just to the conflict with Israel, but how they are also responding to the Gospel message. What does the future look like for the Iranian people? Then, Wesley Smith will open our eyes to the world of science and ethics. What happens when two male mice produce an offspring? Learn about the controversy of a baby born to a brain-dead mother. This hour, we think biblically and critically.

Dr. Juli Slattery
Dr. Juli Slattery is a clinical psychologist, author, speaker and the president/co-founder of Authentic Intimacy. Juli earned her college degree at Wheaton College, an MA in psychology from Biola University, and an MS and a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology. From 2008-2012, Dr. Slattery served at Focus on the Family writing, teaching, and co-hosting the Focus on the Family Broadcast. In 2012, she left Focus on the Family to start Authentic Intimacy, a ministry devoted to reclaiming God’s design for sexuality. In 2020, Juli launched SexualDiscipleship.com, a platform designed to help Christian leaders navigate sexual issues and questions with gospel-centered truth. Juli is the author of thirteen books and host of the weekly podcast “Java with Juli.”
Dr. Hormoz Shariat
Dr. Hormoz Shariat is the founder of Iran Alive Ministries. He was born into a Muslim family in Iran and came to the United States after the Islamic Revolution of 1979, where he came to Christ while earning my Ph.D. in Computer Engineering as a graduate student at USC in 1980. In 1987, Hormoz planted a church in San Jose, California. With hundreds of Muslim converts, which remains one of the largest churches of its kind in the United States. In 2001 he followed the Lord’s leading and founded Iran Alive Ministries, which utilizes Satellite TV to reach the millions of lost and broken people of Iran and the rest of the Middle East. Today, the ministry broadcasts the Gospel 24/7 from studios in Dallas to Iran and the Middle East, trusting the Lord to transform a nation, which is responding to the Gospel unlike any other time in history.
Wesley Smith
Wesley J. Smith is Chair and Senior Fellow at the Discovery Institute’s Center on Human Exceptionalism. Wesley is a contributor to National Review and is the author of 14 books, in recent years focusing on human dignity, liberty, and equality. Wesley has been recognized as one of America’s premier public intellectuals on bioethics by National Journal and has been honored by the Human Life Foundation as a “Great Defender of Life” for his work against suicide and euthanasia. Wesley’s most recent book is Culture of Death: The Age of “Do Harm” Medicine, a warning about the dangers to patients of the modern bioethics movement.
