In today’s culture of gender confusion, many children struggle with understanding their identity. Dr Jeff Myers and Dr. Kathy Koch will provide us with a clear and compassionate framework to help our children confidently embrace the unique design God has for them. Our guests are experts in the Christian worldview and child development, and they will help us discover the tools to instill truth, hope, and confidence while also navigating the complexities of gender ideology.
Hour 2: They Had Names
Before the Pilgrims landed at Cape Cod, what was happening in North America? Who was there? What civilizations rose and fell? For years, the answers to these questions have been shrouded in mystery. On today’s broadcast, journey with Dr. Nathaniel Jeanson through the native ruins and heritage sites of pre-colonization America as you unpack who the first Americans were and where they came from.

Dr. Jeff Myers-
Dr. Jeff Myers is president of Summit Ministries and has become one of America’s most respected authorities on youth leadership development. Through his speaking engagements and media appearances, Dr. Myers has become a fresh voice offering humor and insight from a Christian worldview. He is the author of 19 books, including Understanding the Faith, Understanding the Times, and Understanding the Culture textbooks which are studied by tens of thousands of students. Dr. Myers holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Denver.
Dr. Kathy Koch
Dr. Kathy Koch (pronounced “cook”) is the Founder and President of Celebrate Kids, Inc., based in Fort Worth, TX. She has influenced thousands of parents, teachers, and children in over 25 countries through keynote messages, seminars, chapels, and other events. Dr. Kathy offers practical, relevant, and spiritual-centered insights and strategies for parents and educators, so they increase hope in God, celebrate kids as Jesus did, and guide children to develop biblical character and healthy relationships so they flourish in life. She is proud to be represented by the Premiere Speakers Bureau. Dr. Kathy speaks in Christian schools, churches, pregnancy resource centers, and for various organizations including Care Net, Summit Ministries, the Colson Center, and Teach Them Diligently. Kirk Cameron chose her as an expert in two recent documentaries and she is also a popular guest on Focus on the Family radio and other radio talk shows and podcasts. She is the author of seven books published by Moody Publishers: 8 Great Smarts, Screens and Teens, Resilient Kids, Start with the Heart, No More Perfect Kids (with Jill Savage), Five to Thrive, and her most recent book, Parent Differently: Raise Kids with Biblical Character that Changes Culture. Dr. Kathy earned a PhD in reading and educational psychology from Purdue University. She was tenured as an associate professor of education at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, served as a teacher of second graders, a middle school coach, and a school board member before founding Celebrate Kids in 1991. She has loved Jesus for years, and her faith and desire to serve and glorify God is the foundation of her ministry.
Nathaniel Jeanson, PhD
Dr. Nathaniel Jeanson holds a PhD in cell and developmental biology from Harvard University. He serves as a research biologist, author, and speaker with Answers in Genesis and formerly conducted research with the Institute for Creation Research. While at Harvard, Dr. Jeanson was actively involved in adult stem cell research and published several peer-reviewed papers in secular journals in his field. His current research involves using DNA comparisons to understand the true origin of species, and to understand human origins and human history. Dr. Jeanson has published groundbreaking results on this question. In addition, he has contributed to several books, including The Design and Complexity of the Cell and Creation Basics and Beyond, and he authored The Lost Treasures of Genesis, Replacing Darwin: The New Origin of Species, Replacing Darwin Made Simple, and Traced: Human DNA’s Big Surprise. Dr Jeanson recently published They Had Names: Tracing the History of the North American Indigenous People.
