Hour 1: To Invent Is Divine
Christians generally know that God created “the heavens and the earth” and made human beings in His image. They know that “the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof”—He owns His creations. They know that skilled people create and own marvelous works. But a disconnect often occurs when it comes to God’s communicable attributes of creativity and ownership and that combination’s role in human innovation, technological progress, and practical benefits from human creativity and ownership. Jim Edwards will join us to connect the dots between creativity and ownership, as well as the dots between that combination and the fruits of human flourishing.
Hour 2: What Do Muslims Think About Jesus?
Muslims love Jesus—but do they know who He really is? Abdu Murray will join us to explore the Islamic view of Jesus, known to Muslims as “Isa.” What does the Qur’an say about Him? Is He just a prophet, or something more? And how do Islamic beliefs about Jesus at the end of time—His return, His role in judgment—compare with what the Bible reveals? Abdu draws from his background as a former Muslim and Christian apologist to explain what Islam gets right about Jesus, what it leaves out, and why the differences aren’t minor—they’re eternal.

Abdu Murray is the President of Embrace The Truth ministry. He offers the credibility of the gospel message as a speaker and writer with Embrace the Truth. He has authored several books including Saving Truth, Grand Central Question, Apocalypse Later, and his latest book, More than a White Man’s Religion. For most of his life, Abdu was a proud Muslim until a nine-year historical, philosophical, theological, and scientific investigation pointed him to the Christian faith. Abdu has spoken to diverse international audiences and has participated in debates and dialogues across the globe. Abdu holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School.
