Join us this hour as we do a national fly-over of our nation’s courts to see how parents’ rights are either being defended or negated. What did the state of Maine just do when it comes to government funding and its allowance of “trans” athletes on girls’ sports teams? Also, will the Supreme Court protect the rights of parents to opt their child out of LGBTQ lessons, or will indoctrination be protected by the High Court? Get the answers to these questions and more on today’s broadcast.
With recent headlines about scientists “resurrecting” species like the Dire wolf, there’s growing debate around the ethics of de-extinction. From a Christian apologetics standpoint, we believe it’s important to be in that conversation, asking not just can we do this, but should we? Join us as Dr. Fuz Rana, from Reasons to Believe ministries, walks us through this question from a biblical perspective.

Biochemist Fazale “Fuz” Rana is president, CEO, and senior scholar of Reasons to Believe (RTB), an organization dedicated to communicating the powerful scientific case for God’s existence and the Bible’s reliability to both Christians and non-Christians. Fuz converted to Christianity during graduate school. Though he initially embraced the evolutionary paradigm, he eventually drew the conclusion that only a Creator’s involvement could explain the elegance of biochemical systems. After a pastor challenged him to read the Bible, Fuz became convinced of the validity of Christ’s claims and of his own need for a Savior. Fuz earned a BS in chemistry with highest honors (West Virginia State College) and a PhD in chemistry with an emphasis in biochemistry (Ohio University) and completed postdoctoral work at the Universities of Virginia and Georgia. Before joining RTB in 1999, he worked for seven years as a senior scientist in research and development for Procter & Gamble. To date, Fuz has addressed more than 500 university, church, and conference audiences in the US and abroad. His books include Humans 2.0, The Cell’s Design, and Fit for a Purpose. He was also featured in Museum of the Bible’s Scripture and Science exhibit in Washington, DC.
