Hour 1: Embracing God’s Design

The transgender movement is based on a destructive ideology that has affected every adult and minor in every sector of American society. Our churches and communities need to understand how to address the spiritual and psychological crisis behind gender ideology. Join us as Jennifer Bauwens, a trauma therapist and researcher, and Walt Heyer, who previously identified as a woman discuss the deadly ideology of ‘transgenderism’. Discover the origins of the gender movement, hear about the psychological research used to give the appearance that the practices are evidence-based, and most importantly, how to both protect someone struggling with identity confusion and how to support someone who wants to come back to God’s design for their life after identifying as transgender.

Hour 2: Views From Down Under

Join us as we wing our way to the Land of Oz and hear what David Robertson has to say about a thing or two. He will tackle subjects like: If you know a corporation is supporting abortion, do you support that corporation? Why is Denmark fighting over its religious heritage? And why does a former leader in Scotland push back against the idea that only biological women are women? Learn how to apply the Word to the world around us.

Walt Heyer was a husband, father, and corporate executive who underwent so-called “gender reassignment surgery” at the age of 42, identifying as a woman for eight years. Walt Heyer speaks and writes passionately about safeguarding children from experimental intervention (improperly called “gender affirming care”), testifying before legislative bodies, writing 8 books and over 60 articles, addressing audiences around the world, and appearing in countless documentaries, interviews, and podcasts. Walt serves as Senior Fellow at Family Research Council and his latest book, Embracing God’s Design, is co-authored with FRC colleague, Jennifer Bauwens, Ph. D. Walt uses his unique platform as an “insider” to speak around the world about God’s grace and redemption. Walt’s fascinating story is told in his memoir, A Transgender’s Faith, and his voice of reason has been featured in numerous documentaries.
