Hour 1: Where We Stand

On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we honored the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by talking candidly about how minority populations in our country have the opportunity like never before to reshape the role of government and its impact on their lives today and their children’s lives in the future. It should be clear to all of us that just because Roe V. Wade was defeated the fight for the pre-born is far from over. Our guest explained why abortion is still a hot button topic going into the 2024 elections. Another big issue from 2023 that is still impacting life in the new year is the issue of gender identity and whether or not it is something we choose for ourselves or it is something determined and given by God to each of us. Our guest a husband and wife team, told about some new resources that can help young kids who are getting caught in the society’s confusing gender messages to plant their feet in truth and learn to understand and appreciate the unique creation that God has made them including His choice to make them a boy or a girl. Sometimes it is good to go back basics and get a refresher on why we believe what we believe. Our guest set our feet on solid ground as he addressed some of the essential questions of the Christian faith with clarity founded in the Scriptures. The push for climate change is not just about making the world a healthier place. Our guest explained that the drive for Net Zero and the total use of green sources of energy is flawed at its very core, driven by a definite political agenda and in the end is doomed to failure. Once again thousands of people who love the pre-born gathered in Washington D.C. for the March for Life. We’ve got highlights from today’s rally as pro-life supporters across the nation gear up for the challenges facing us in 2024 and the upcoming election.

Hour 2: Hour 2; Who We Trust

What does it really mean to care for “the least among us”? On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week started we talked about the efforts of people in communities around the nation who are choosing to make significant, transformative differences in the lives of their neighbors through their dependence and reliance upon God. Narcissism is like a poisonous weed that infects any and everyone who comes into contact with it. Our guest, a respected expert who draws from her own experiences with this dangerous personality type, combined God’s word with proven clinical practice to offer hope and guidance to those who are struggling to live with the damaging impact of the narcissist in their lives. We helped you stretch out that prayer list as we shared the name of countries, like North Korea, where religious freedom is in crisis. We also told you about some beloved and respected charities that you may not have known are solidly pro-choice in their stance and financial support. Standing up for the unborn can be a divisive act in today’s society. How do believers engage the culture with the truth when faced with “seemingly irrefutable” scientific facts? Our guest took us back to basics to help us get a solid grasp on the tent pole tenants of the pro-life position and showed us how to use these truths to lovingly address the questions and objections of those on the other side of this life altering issue. We invite you to join Janet and Craig as they once again teach us how to seek the truth beyond the headlines of the week.
