But sometimes underneath all the sparkle, our hearts have questions, like: Can Christmas help me with my Problems? Is Christmas merely ‘Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire’? How can Christmas make me happy forever? Join us as we discover the true joy of Christmas.

Which god is God? What is a human? What is sin? What is salvation? You may never have thought much about these questions. But the fact is we all have a working version of the answers. Instead of speculating about who God is, our guest invites us to begin with the claim that God has revealed Himself in Jesus. What kind of a God emerges from that claim? Join us to learn more.

Josh Moody
Josh Moody (Ph.D., University of Cambridge) is the senior pastor of College Church. He is the president and founder of God Centered Life Ministries, which proclaims God’s Word worldwide through daily broadcasts on Moody Radio, One Place, podcasts, and live-streaming on godcenteredlife.org. He grew up in the London area and became a follower of Jesus in the Church of England. He is the author of over 14 books, including a series of accessible guides to Christian living (How Christmas Can Change Your Life, Christian Focus 2019; How the Bible Can Change Your Life, Christian Focus 2018; How Church Can Change Your Life, Christian Focus 2015); a two-volume commentary on John’s Gospel (John 1-12 For You and John 13-21 for You, The Good Book Company 2017 and 2019). His passion is the gospel. He is an expository preacher who seeks to bring God’s Word into the practical matters of the human condition and heart.
Peter Mead
Peter is a mentor with Cor Deo, a small ministry that exists to multiply ministry that shares God’s heart. He is also on the leadership team of Trinity Chippenham, a new church launched in 2014. Peter leads the Bible Teachers & Preachers Networks at the European Leadership Forum. He studied at Multnomah Biblical Seminary and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Pleased to Dwell was his first book, although he also contributed to the Ministry Essentials Study Bible (Hendrickson, July 2014), and blogs regularly at BiblicalPreaching.net and CorDeo.
