Hour 1: Understanding and Clarity

Christian families are not exempt to the challenges of mental illness but our hope for help and healing come from a greater source. On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we tackled the challenge of adolescent mental illnesses such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism and bipolar disorders and explained how the church family can come alongside and be dependable system of love and support for families who live daily with these challenges. If you could sum up the traits of humility, gratitude and respect into one word, that world would be “character”. Our guest shared taught us what having biblical character looks like, why good character brings on obedience but not the other way around and most importantly she shared practical steps to help parents instill good, godly character into their children starting at an early age. Janet was joined by her daughter and legal expert to unpack some of the big issues impacting religious liberty today. They discussed what the passage of Issue #1 in Ohio means for the ongoing fight to protect the preborn & how the courts are failing to protect kids from the dangers of so-called “gender affirming” surgeries. Once again our expert on spiritual warfare mixed his personal experiences with the clear direction of the Word to answer your questions on this challenging but essential topic. As we wind down the week, we invite you once again to learn by example as Janet and Craig continue to teach us how look at the events in the new with the newspaper in one hand and the Bible in the other.

Hour 2: Insight and Perspective

On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week, we tackled some important issues including how the abortion numbers have been manipulated since the passage of Roe V. Wade and why Americans need to pay close attention to the efforts to give the World Health Organization ultimate control over our sovereign choices as a nation in regards to matters like future pandemics, climate issues and cyber-attacks just to name a few. We also told you how you can join a grass roots effort to protect and preserve our national sovereignty from those who want to give it away to the WHO. We all know the Bible is an amazing book, like no other in history. We invited you to take a step back in time as our guest explained the compelling story of how God’s Holy World was protected and preserved and how the change from hand scribing to printing on a press changed the course of history. We learned how to see our lives from a new perspective, the way Jesus sees. Our guest showed how asking the Lord show us His perspective on changes how we see ourselves and better understand the challenges and relationships in our lives. It is time once again to think biblically and critically as we put the news of the week under the microscope of God’s unwavering truth.
