Hour 1: Unvarnished Truth
On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we gave you an update on all the latest developments on the Israel-Hamas war. Then we turned our attention to the U.S. military as we heard about the hold put on the recent DOD nominees and a status report on the funding for the NDAA. In light of recent events in Israel we had a timely conversation on the history of the nation of Israel and the growth and establishment of Zionism as the identity of this prophetic nation. Working through the eye-witness accounts in the New Testament, our guest used his training and experience as a lawyer to investigate and prove the testimony of the apostles about the resurrection of Jesus. He explained why Paul was God’s chosen man during the early days of the Church, our author’s own faith journey and why he thinks God is staying His hand of judgment upon our nation. We talked about the intersection between faith and film and how believers can turn the questions raised on the screen into doorways of opportunity to share the good news with others. This week on In The Market with Janet Parshall we had a practical conversation about food and making sure that it does not become our “drug of choice”. Using Daniel’s experience in the lion’s den as a template, a highly respected evangelist joins us to talk about what it means to fight the “lions” of compromise and temptation that attack our faith and just like Daniel discover God’s power to rescue and save us when we are in our hour of trouble. Our guest shared her story of walking through the fire of abuse, restoration and rebuilding side by side with Jesus, reminding us all that there is no personal disaster so great that God can not see us through it, if we let Him. An overdose of the news can easily lead to turmoil and confusion but Janet and Craig are here once again to help us tamp down the noise and hear the clarion call of truth as we examine the headlines of the week.
