Hour 1: Is Masculinity Toxic?
Strong men are not "toxic." If they go away, evil men take their place, and weak men offer no resistance. The idea that masculine men—assertive, risk-taking, single-minded—are a problem to be solved threatens our whole society. The cultural elites cheering the decline of men are trying to erase God’s design for half of the human race—the half that historically provides, protects, and leads for the good of others. The disappearance of the masculine ideal is bad news for men, and it’s terrible news for women. What will happen without men of courage and conviction? Who will do the hard jobs that no one else can do? Who will be left to face down evil, strengthen families, build churches, and bolster communities? Join us to get the answers to these questions – and more as we rediscover that strong men help mold strong families and strong nations.

Owen Strachan is the provost and research professor of theology at Grace Bible Theological Seminary and a senior fellow for the Family Research Council’s Center for Biblical Worldview. Strachan holds a doctorate in theological studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, a master’s degree from Southern Seminary, and a bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College. Dr. Sam Storms
Dr. Sam Storms is pastor emeritus of Bridgeway Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is also the founder of Enjoying God Ministries. In 2008 Sam became Lead Pastor for Preaching and Vision at Bridgeway Church in Oklahoma City until he stepped down in 2022. Sam serves as a member of the Council of The Gospel Coalition. Sam is a past President of the Evangelical Theological Society. He served four years as a visiting associate professor of theology at Wheaton College.
