Hour 1: Views From The Highlands

This hour we catch up with our favorite Scottish apologist who has temporarily left the land of Oz and returned to his bonny Scotland. He still has much to say about the world around us. We will discuss climate change, UFO’s, ‘gay only’ dorms and tackle the question: Does preaching with a Scottish accent lead more people to Christ? (Is that a real question?) Join us for insightful and biblical analysis of the marketplace of ideas.

Hour 2: Humans and Human Compassion

Join us for a full hour of news and analysis. We start with some of the stories making headlines and then discuss why Congress needs to weigh-in on protecting our children online. We will hear from someone who will teach us how to push back when our children are being ‘sexualized by entertainment’. We round out the hour by tackling the idea being pushed by a new documentary featuring archeologists who believe that humans really aren’t all that special. This hour is designed to help us think critically and biblically.

Dr. Fazale Rana

Biochemist Fazale “Fuz” Rana is president, CEO, and senior scholar of Reasons to Believe (RTB), an organization dedicated to communicating the powerful scientific case for God’s existence and the Bible’s reliability to both Christians and non-Christians. Fuz converted to Christianity during graduate school. Though he initially embraced the evolutionary paradigm, he eventually drew the conclusion that only a Creator’s involvement could explain the elegance of biochemical systems. After a pastor challenged him to read the Bible, Fuz became convinced of the validity of Christ’s claims and of his own need for a Savior. Fuz earned a BS in chemistry with highest honors (West Virginia State College) and a PhD in chemistry with an emphasis in biochemistry (Ohio University) and completed postdoctoral work at the Universities of Virginia and Georgia. Before joining RTB in 1999, he worked for seven years as a senior scientist in research and development for Procter & Gamble. To date, Fuz has addressed more than 500 university, church, and conference audiences in the US and abroad. His books include Humans 2.0, The Cell’s Design, and Fit for a Purpose.
