This hour we take a look at several significant issues before U.S. Courts that impact family and culture. We will get an update on a recent U.S. House of Representatives hearing where a doctor tried to convince the members of the Committee why life-altering surgery is somehow justifiable for people who are struggling with self-awareness. We will also discuss a second Title IX rule that has just been issued. Come and enjoy a lively conversation between mother and daughter!
Hour 2: News And Analysis
Join us as we take a look at the world around us from a Bible-based perspective. After looking at some stories making news, we talk with a physician who was instrumental in her persuasive arguments in shaping the recent 5th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruling on the FDA and the abortion pill regime. We round out the hour talking with the man who believes human exceptionalism compels us to fight to protect our fellow man from harm. We will tackle questions like: Is there such a thing as ‘hybrid children’? Why does the AMA support the idea of putting an artificial uterus in a man? Get ready to think biblically and critically.

Sarah Parshall Perry
Sarah Perry is a senior legal fellow in the Institute for Constitutional Government at The Heritage Foundation in Washington, DC. She is also former Senior Counsel to the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Education, where she focused on policy reform, technical guidance, employee relations, and Department's annual report to the federal government. She is also a policy consultant and widely-published author with publications on topics ranging from public policy and education, to parenting, law, disability advocacy, and the arts. Sarah managed education reform initiatives at the Family Research Council and has written widely on the fight against the industrialized education complex. Her work at the Family Research Council also included the building and oversight of multiple policy coalitions geared toward the fight against antisemitism in academia, limiting tech censorship, and protecting religious liberty. Her work has appeared at Human Events, Christianity Today, the Stream, the Daily Caller, Townhall and others.
Dr. Ingrid Skop
Ingrid Skop, M.D., FACOG, is Vice President and Director of Medical Affairs for Charlotte Lozier Institute, leveraging more than 25 years’ experience as a practicing obstetrician-gynecologist to support research and policies that respect the dignity of every human life. Dr. Skop received her Bachelor of Science in physiology from Oklahoma State University and her medical doctorate from Washington University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Skop is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, where she uses science and statistics to counter pro-abortion agendas, and is a lifetime member of the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Prior to joining Charlotte Lozier Institute, Dr. Skop served for over 25 years in private practice in San Antonio, where she delivered more than 5,000 babies and personally cared for many women who had been harmed, physically and emotionally, from complications due to abortion. She has served as board member and medical director for pregnancy resource centers in San Antonio, Austin, and Houston. Dr. Skop’s research on maternal mortality, abortion, and women’s health has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, she has provided expert testimony at both the state and federal levels on legislation related to abortion, including standing firm against prominent pro-abortion politicians who choose not to follow the science regarding fetal heartbeat and development.
Wesley Smith
Wesley J. Smith is Chair and Senior Fellow at the Discovery Institute’s Center on Human Exceptionalism. Wesley is a contributor to National Review and is the author of 14 books, in recent years focusing on human dignity, liberty, and equality. Wesley has been recognized as one of America’s premier public intellectuals on bioethics by National Journal and has been honored by the Human Life Foundation as a “Great Defender of Life” for his work against suicide and euthanasia. Wesley’s most recent book is Culture of Death: The Age of “Do Harm” Medicine, a warning about the dangers to patients of the modern bioethics movement.
