Today we will open the phone lines to your questions so that our guest can offer practical counsel, step by step, on how to deal with the many conflicts and emotions parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters or any family member will experience when learning of a loved one's homosexuality. Drawing from his own experience and from his many years of helping families work through this perplexing and unexpected situation, he will offer scriptural and compassionate advice to both struggling gays and those who love them.
Hour 2: The Jordan River Rules
The Lord parted the waters for them, showing us that the same God who leads us into difficulty will lead us out. But do you know God parted the waters for His people a second time? Forty years after the Red Sea experience, God divided the swollen waters of the Jordan River and led His people into the Promised Land He had prepared for them. God intends for you to go forward. His articles have been featured in Christianity Today and the Journal of Psychology and Christianity. He is also the author of the daily blog Joe Dallas Online.
Robert Morgan
Robert J. Morgan is the full time leader of Robert J. Morgan Ministries, a 501(c)3 nonprofit whose goal is to energize God’s people with a greater understanding and appreciation of the Bible and Christian heritage. Preceding this transition, Rob was involved in pastoral ministry for over 40 years in Nashville Tennessee. He is a best-selling, gold-Illuminations, and gold-medallion winning writer with more than 35 books in print and approximately 5 million copies in circulation in multiple languages. Rob has appeared on numerous television and radio shows. He speaks widely at churches, conferences, schools, and corporate events. Robert was also a homemaker and a caregiver for his late wife of 43 years, Katrina, who battled multiple sclerosis and passed away in November of 2019. He and Katrina have three daughters and sixteen grandchildren. In 2014, Morgan was awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from his alma mater, Columbia International University.
