Steve Gaines
Dr. Steve Gaines served as senior pastor at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis for more than two decades and was known as a man of prayer and a preacher of God's Word. Steve pastored churches in Texas, Tennessee, and Alabama, and served in many denominational leadership roles, including president of the Southern Baptist Convention. Steve's and his wife Donna have four children and 18 grandchildren. Steve went home to be with the Lord on March 20, 2026.
